Farmlands Ashburton Ruralco Price Beat Offer 

Terms & Conditions:

Summary: Make any purchase at the Farmlands Ashburton store and we’ll match any advertised Ruralco Instore Days event price and beat it by 5%.  

Offer Period: 3 July 2025 and 4 July 2025.

 

General terms and conditions:

1. Entry into the Farmlands offer is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. The details of any offer, including the Offer Period, any method of entry, eligibility, claim and exclusions are provided here.

3. The Offer is offered by Farmlands Co-operative Society Limited of 535 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand (“Farmlands”).

4. For the purpose of the Offer, “Farmlands Shareholder(s)” means the primary account holder of a Farmlands Shareholder account.

5. The Offer is open to Farmlands Shareholders and non-Shareholders who purchase any products from the Farmlands Ashburton store (in-store only) during the Offer Period. To qualify, the advertised price at the Ruralco Instore Days must be identical (same brand, model, size, and specifications), be in stock (available for same-day pickup or delivery at your servicing area at the time of verification), be locally sold by Ruralco (the product must be available from a verified Ruralco retail location or online platform servicing your area. The Ruralco price must be visible and verifiable at the time of claim. Farmlands reserves the right to factor in shipping or delivery fees for online price comparisons.

6. Employees of Farmlands who are Farmlands shareholders are eligible to participate in the Offer.

7. You'll need to present one of the following to claim the Offer:

  • A screenshot of the lower-priced product clearly showing price, product details, and availability.
  • A link to the relevant competitor’s product listing.
  • A printed or digital quote from the competitor.

 

You can claim in-store at our Ashburton store only and show the relevant proof of any of the above to a Farmlands team member. If the team member can verify the details and if you meet the eligibility criteria, Farmlands will match the lower price and beat it by 5%. This applies to purchases at Farmlands Ashburton in-store only. 

8. Farmlands reserves the right to request proof of an entrant’s eligibility if there is a doubt over his/her eligibility for the Offer and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

9. Upon making an in-store purchase and claiming the price beat offer, the entrant will be duly notified of their eligibility for the offer, subject to stock availability. The entrant is responsible for collecting the products from the Farmlands Ashburton store on their own.

10. If you are not satisfied with the purchase of your products, you may return the items purchased to Farmlands, subject to Farmlands' Return/Exchange/Refund Policy.

11. The products are subject to availability, and while stocks last for this offer, and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash.

12. If the offer is unavailable for any reason, Farmlands, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel the offer. Farmlands' decisions on all matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

13. Farmlands may cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the offer or these Terms and Conditions at any time and for any reason before the end of the Offer Period and shall not be liable to any entrant for any loss or damage incurred as a result.

14. Farmlands takes no responsibility for omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access telecommunications network services, or any other error or malfunction in respect of the offer and any resulting failure to record any eligible entries.

15. Except for liability that may not by law be excluded, Farmlands shall not be liable under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions and/or this offer for any cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by any entrant, even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable, and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.

16. These Terms and Conditions are governed by New Zealand law, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

17. The entrant consent and waive all rights (including copyright and moral rights), to Farmlands using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film, and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this offer, and promoting any products distributed and/or supplied by the Farmlands.

18. Entrants in the offer agree not to make any commercial or business use of the offer to resell or commercially benefit from any part or aspect of the offer.
