Farmlands and House of Travel Gift Card 2026

 

Summary: Complete the Farmlands Card Quiz at Wanaka Show or Central Districts Field Days 2026 ("Competition") to win a House of Travel gift card, valued at $2,000.

Prize: Two (x2) House of Travel Gift Cards, each valued at $2,000 (incl. GST).

Competition Period: 13 March 2026 to 21 March 2026.

 

General Terms and Conditions for Farmlands and House of Travel Gift Card Competition

  1. Entry into the Farmlands and House of Travel Gift Card Competition (hereinafter referred to as "Competition”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 
  2. The details of the Competition, including any method of entry, eligibility, prize and redemption is provided on these Terms and Conditions.
  3. The Competition is offered by Farmlands Co-operative Society Limited of 535 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand (“Promoter”).
  4. The Competition is open to Farmlands Shareholders who correctly complete the Farmlands Card Quiz Entry Form (“Entry Form") during the Competition Period (“Entry Criteria”) to be eligible to win the Prize. 
  5. Farmlands Shareholders who meet the Entry Criteria (and as determined by the Shareholder’s Farmlands account statement), will automatically receive 1 entry into the Competition draw.  
  6. If the Shareholder has not paid the account for the Competition Period in full by the Draw Date, the Shareholder’s right of entry into the Competition will be forfeited and the Shareholder will not be eligible to win the Prize.
  7. The Prize Winner must be able to provide a current, valid New Zealand Passport or New Zealand Driver’s License / other Valid ID to accept the prize.
  8. The Prize Winners will be determined by a random computer-generated prize draw on 25 March 2026 or some other date decided by the Promoter (“Draw Date”). 
  9. The total prize pool is 2x gift cards from House of Travel, valued at $2000 each. There is 1x gift card valued at $2000 for the lucky participant of the Wanaka event and 1x gift card, valued at $2000 for the lucky participant of the Central Districts event. Two (2x) Prize-winners will be announced by the Promoter on or after 26 March 2026. The Promoter will contact the Prize Winner using the contact details provided in the Entry Form. If a Prize winner cannot be contacted with his or her provided contact details or other means, the Prize may, at the Promoter’s sole discretion be forfeited.
  10. The Prize cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash. Travel using the gift cards must be commenced by 30 November 2026. Closeouts will apply and are applicable during peak holiday periods, i.e. Easter / School and Major Holidays.
    Note: travel is subject to availability at the time of booking. This prize must be booked in-store at your local House of Travel. All other associated costs must be paid for in full by the prize winner(s).
  11. If the prize winners do not contact House of Travel within fourteen (14) days of being notified of their Prize, they will forfeit the right to the Prize. The Prize will then be awarded to the next drawn winner – and another prize winner will be announced and contacted.
  12. If the Prize or any part of the Prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter and/or House of Travel in their sole discretion reserves the right to substitute the Prize or part thereof with a prize of equal value and/or specification. 
  13. The Promoter’s decisions on all matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. The Promoter may cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Competition or these Terms and Conditions at any time and for any reason before the end of the Competition Period and shall not be liable to any participant or Prize winner for any loss or damage incurred as a result.
  15. The Promoter takes no responsibility for omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access telecommunications network services, or any other error or malfunction in respect of the Competition and any resulting failure to record any eligible entries.
  16. Except for liability that may not by law be excluded, the Promoter shall not be liable under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions and/or this Competition for any cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by any participant, even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable, and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
  17. These Terms and Conditions are governed by New Zealand law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
  18. The Prize winners consent and waive all rights (including copyright and moral rights), to the Promoter using the Prize winner’s name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film, and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this  Competition, and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  19. Participants in the Competition agree not to make any commercial or business use of the Competition to resell or commercially benefit from any part or aspect of the Competition.
