With nearly three decades in the horticultural sector, Andre brings deep knowledge and practical experience to his role as a Horticultural Technical Advisor at Farmlands. Born and based in the heart of Hawke’s Bay, Andre is right where he needs to be—supporting local growers in one of New Zealand’s richest growing regions.

Over the years, Andre has specialised in soils, fertilisers, and chemical use, with a strong focus on cropping and berries. He’s passionate about extending knowledge, sharing insights, and giving growers the confidence to make the best decisions for their crops. For Andre, the most rewarding part of the job is seeing growers succeed:
