Jess Strange - Pou Kiritaki Tautōhito
Chief Customer Officer

Jess is Chief Customer Officer and has held this role since 2021. Jess brings an extensive understanding of the Farmlands/Te Whenua Tāroa business to this important customer-focused leadership role, having been with the co-operative since 2010. She leads a large Farmlands team including the co-operative's entire national retail network, brand, marketing, communications, and customer experience.

She believes in delivering true customer experience and holds ultimate responsibility for ensuring the needs of customers are understood across and met by the co-operative. Jess has held several marketing-focussed leadership roles at Farmlands/Te Whenua Tāroa and has been a General Manager responsible for the Farmlands Card. She also played a key role in bringing together Combined Rural Traders (CRT) and Farmlands when it merged in 2013.

Jess is passionate about the rural sector and has a strong horticulture and agriculture background. Prior to joining the co-operative, she had roles with the ASB Rural as well as her whānau founded olive oil company, The Village Press.
