Caleb joined Farmlands as Chief Supply Chain Officer in July 2023. He is responsible for the team which lead our forecasting, purchasing, manufacturing, warehousing and transport operations across New Zealand. Our supply chain manages over 1,000 shipments a week, moving product to our branches and direct to customers across all sales channels. Caleb and his team are working hard to leverage our buying power and logistics scale to deliver to agreed service levels and effectively manage the cost, resulting in competitive pricing for our customers. 

Caleb brings over 20 years of experience in retail and has a deep passion for supply chain. He has led the design and delivery of global supply chain capability building processes, systems, logistics infrastructure and teams to manage supply chain operations, including appointing and managing multiple 3PL partnerships both locally and globally. More recently he established and led the New Zealand division of a specialist multi-national supply chain consulting business working with multiple businesses across both manufacturing and logistics infrastructure.

Farmlands has embarked on a major transformation focused on its roots as a buying cooperative for customers. This will bring considerable efficiency opportunities as the co-op optimises the delivery of product from suppliers, distribution centers and manufacturing plants to customers. 

Caleb is all about the outdoors; the ocean’s his regular playground. He was born on an orchard in Muriwai Auckland and his father still potters around with a little block of kiwifruit in the Bay of Plenty.
