Who’s eligible?

Anyone can nominate anyone - teammate, committee member, parent, coach, rival club or community member. They can hold a paid or formal role, be a volunteer, a player or non-player.

What we need

Preferably a short video of you talking about your legend, you can include them too especially if you're at the club! A couple of pics of your legend. Written submissions can also be made. Make sure you ask your nominee before you share their details.

They might be the ones who put on the feed after, wash the jerseys, keep the pitch game-ready, manage the books, chair the Board and stock the bar. They keep the place ticking.

Who’s your Rural Rugby Legend?

The Promotion is open to New Zealand residents who, during the Promotion Period, nominate an individual from their local rugby club who satisfies the eligibility criteria outlined in the Terms and Conditions.

Nominees must be 18 years of age or older at the time of nomination. The nominations must be submitted through the Promotion portal on the Farmlands website and must include either:

a) A video of between 30 and 60 seconds in duration; or


b) A written application accompanied by one or more images.
