Terms and Conditions of Entry

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry.  Entry into this promotion deems acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Entry. 

2. The Promotion is purchase any products via FarmlandsPRO on the day of the store’s BBQ Series event and be in to win an  Oklahoma Joe’s Charcoal BBQ (“Promotion”).

3. The Promotion begins at 12.00 am on 16th December 2024 and ends at 11.59 pm on 31st January 2025 (“Promotion Period”).

4. The Promotion is offered by Farmlands Co-operative Society Limited of 535 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand (“Promoter”).

METHOD OF ENTRY, ELIGIBILITY

5. For the purpose of this Promotion, “Farmlands Shareholder” means the primary account holder of a Farmlands Shareholder account

6. The Promotion is open to [Farmlands Shareholders who are] New Zealand residents and who: 

Log into FarmlandsPRO and make any purchase viaFarmlandPRO.  

Shareholder needs to make the purchase themselves and cannot be completed by their Farmlands’ Technical Field Officer (TFO) on their behalf.  

The purchase via FarmlndsPRO must be made on the date of the BBQ event at the store they are associated with .

7. Farmlands Shareholders who meet the entry criteria (as determined by the Shareholder’s Farmlands account statement), will automatically receive one entry/entries into the Promotion.  

At all times a Shareholder’s entry into the Promotion is subject to approval from the Farmlands Credit and Risk Team, who will assess any risk or likelihood of the Shareholder not making payment of his or her Farmlands account statement for the applicable month. The Farmlands Credit and Risk Team’s approval is at its sole discretion, and it has the right to forfeit a Shareholder’s entry into the Promotion and that Shareholder’s eligibility to receive the Prize.

8. Employees of Farmlands who are Farmlands Shareholders are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.

9. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of an entrant’s eligibility if there is a doubt over his/her eligibility for the promotion and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. .

PRIZE AND REDEMPTION

11. The Prize(s) is a Oklahoma Joe’s Charcoal BBQ

12. Two prize-winners, one for the North Island and one for South Island will be drawn randomly and separately by the Promoter. Each Prize draw will comprise all eligible entries received on the date corresponding to that Prize draw.  The first valid entry drawn in each Prize draw will win the Prize.

13. The Prize(s) cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash.

14. All Prize draws will be completed by the Promoter on or after 6th February 2025 (“Draw Date”).  

15. If the Prize or any part of the Prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter in its sole discretion reserves the right to substitute the Prize or part thereof with a prize of equal value and/or specification. 

16. The Prize-winner will be contacted by the Promoter using the contact details provided by the Shareholder for his or her Farmlands account.   

17. If a Prize winner cannot be contacted within 3 days from the date of the Prize Draw Date by his or her provided contact details or other means, or alternatively the contact details provided on the Shareholder’s Farmlands account are incorrect, the Prize may, at the Promoter’s sole discretion, be forfeited and re-drawn.

MISCELLANEOUS

17. The Promoter’s decisions on all matters will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

18. The Promoter may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions at any time and for any reason before the end of the Promotion Period and shall not be liable to any participant or Prize winner for any loss or damage incurred as a result.

19. The Promoter takes no responsibility for omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access telecommunications network services, or any other error or malfunction in respect of the Promotion and any resulting failure to record any eligible entries.

20. Except for liability that may not by law be excluded, The Promoter shall not be liable under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions and/or this Promotion for any cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by any participant, even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable, and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.

21. These Terms and Conditions are governed by New Zealand law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

22. The Prize winners consent, and waive all rights (including copyright and moral rights), to The Promoter using the Prize winner’s name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film, and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion, and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

23. Participants agree not to make any commercial or business use of the Promotion to resell or commercially benefit from any part or aspect of the Promotion.
